This card is going to My daughter for her first Mother's day. It will get to her late, but I was just not on top of things this week. I really thought I had one more week. It is also for Mojo Monday ...
I made it into a easel card, lots of inking and trying to figure out how the fold would look...

lady bugs
Hi all, since I saw the lady bug last week I have wanted to make a card with them on. Since then I got a laptop had to figure out how to reset my Kodak picture easyshare software onto this
(it took 4 tries to get it right)
this is my first post with my new system.
Accent Essential # 41 page 72 @ 3,3 1/2, 2, 2 1/2"
Doodle Charms @ 3/4, 1, 1 1/4 @ 1 1/2"
made into pedestal card
I also figured out how to sign the picture, will take a bit to get use to this laptop, but in the long run I believe I will enjoy this also!! take care, Carol<><
Oh, I was also busy cleaning, have you seen "hording buried" alive on TLC??? I am not a pack rat, in fact I hate clutter and I am not a keeper of most things. It has to mean a lot to me, anyway, after seeing that show and how some people live I thought it was time to clear somethings out. I ended up with a trunk load for Good Will and I will not miss any of it. Feels good to be rid of it!....just thought I would share!

folded frame & Courtney's BD
this card is for my granddaughters 11th birthday....wow 11 where does the time go?
this morning I found this frame fold on scrapstampnMama blog and Ellen found it at
Split Coast Stampers
thank you for the great instructions!
this cute little bear I won from Shelly's blog it is a bugaboo digi stamp! I love it! I made it a little bit bigger than would fit into the square inside the frame so I made it a 5 inches square and marked it at the 1 and 1 1/2 inch marks..... even thought the corners do not touch I think it still turned out well!

Peachy Keen Challenge #21
Wow! does Peachy Keen have a challenge this time!!!!
Interpretation, Quality of work and Original creativity in the project
Lace and silk are from my MIL's wedding dress from 57 year ago, I think that would be Vintage,
the ribbon I found in a seam of her dress and cut it close to the edge, it did ravel a bit, But I expected it to happen.
The digi stamp is from a Hallmark Card Studio program I have, I never thought I would cut around anything by hand but for the look I did around the set of roses inside. I think it added the right touch!
My Cricut I used SB for the oval around the girl, Jasmine corners @ 6", 5 3/4" and 5 1/4"
this deep red paper is Wausau paper
the pearl MOM is Crystal stickers alphabet I picked up at Michael's
I inked around the lace edges to give it a more aged look
glitter pen on the flowers,,,one thing I do remember as a little girl where the cards w/ the glitter!
Made it into a 5x8 pedestal card for my MIL for her BD or Mother's day.
- Project can be in any format (with the exception of digital art, hybrid projects are totally ok!)
- Must contain a vintage item or be inspired by something vintage. The vintage item(s) can be a postcard, old love letter (I love those), an old button, an aged photo – whatever peaks your interest!
- Must contain at least one stamped image

crafty creations challenge #42
crafty creations challenge #42
our new challenge isMetal/Metallic finnishes
ideal for all the Christmas card piles we are trying to create!
since all the kids loved this card at Diane's party I decided to make 6 more. This way when Britt comes
and says I need a card for this weekend and it already is this weekend (she does that to me) I'll be ready.
I did make an opps on these, the guitar is only 2 1/2" and in the original it was 3 1/2
since I made that mistake and was not going to toss them.
I made the flame looking things at 2"

Paper Cutz Challenge #17
Paper Cutz Challenge #17
This week we're switching gears for Challenge # 17. Make a card, LO or craft project using a hand stamped or digital stamped image. Too easy! Use any colors or theme that you'd like
I'm not really sure what a digital stamped image is, but I have a card maker and used some from there. I had so much fun making them that I did 4. take a peek..if this is not what you asked for, the greeting is hand stamped!

the play date cafe challenge #3..Diane R, BD card
directions for this challenge use red, black and white.
I thought this was going to be so hard, then I started to think, What would Britt like, my teenager.
this is what I came up with..
after I took this first picture I thought it looked too flat, so I made another guitar and pop dotted it...
for some reason the black looks washed out on pictures, the flat part where the You Rock is the right
shade of black on paper. this one looks better in person!
looks much better...........
in reg cut and shadow, You Rock I made on the comp with Chaucer font. inked and glitter pen
hope you like!
Britt wanted this card for Diane for her 14th BD, hope she liked it

Christmas card for Noah
first I stamped white card stock with Peach Keen snow flakes, I used all of the snow flakes 4 times each in a different color.
Cut 8 1 1/2 inch rounded squared (shift T) I believe,
white base at 5 1/4 inches inked, light blue is 5 inches each rounded edge punch and inked
3 1/2 inch jots globe, 1 inch jots bear, star at 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch WW tree, I also made it into a pedestal card. unlike the penguin globe card, I was able to put a plastic cover over the globe part to make it look more glass like, because it was flat, the penguin card was pop dotted and too much bulk, would not stick down!
see the shine!
