Yesterday I was talking to my Daughter and some how we started on Jacobs birthday coming in January, anyway they are in California and I'm in Wisconsin, she said if she would have been thinking she would have asked me to make Jacob's invitations (because that is what I do) so I asked her when she would mail them out and I told her I have plenty of time. Just need to know what he likes! this is what I came up with.
Had to give him a snow theme since they don't see much snow where they are.
Made 18 of these little guys, I left the inside blank so they can write what they need inside.
Now off the California we go...

for Skylars walls
Good morning, these Disney critters are for Skylar to put on her walls, she is 19 months now and knows who Mickey and Minnie are. I used cereal boxes to stiffen them so they would hold up for a little while.
boxes for cards to give away
I made these boxes to give away to my church family, Just to find out the are a bit to big to fit into the mailboxes, on to plan B...next week I will try a baggie storage bag to fit 4 to 6 cards with envelopes in.
Not going to give up because a little set back.
these boxes will be put to another good use

my ah ha moment
Yesterday in church I was sitting next to a friend and a woman came up to her and said she might like to look in her mail box. So her husband went to get it for her and he came back with a lovely hand made little coin purse with her name on it. How cool was that random act of kindness! I don't know how we started talking about my cards and she asked me if I sold them and I told her I just give them away as gifts and to charities, she said I should sell them. That is really not for me, but while I was looking for some cards to give to Donna, I got my ah ha moment! I will randomly give them to people at church! So I made this box this morning added I think 10 cards with envelopes and Donna will be my first. so I am hoping to give away 52 boxes this new year!
square corner fold
I have not seen a square corner fold on YouTube, I may have just not looked enough, so I tried it on my own. I think it turned out pretty good with the double sided paper I used. I don't have Olaf, so my doodle charms snowman worked just fine.

Kris' Birthday card
For this card I went to youtube and typed in fancy fold card and this corner fold came up. I added cricut cuts that I wanted and there had to be a cat on it for my daughter. First time with this fold and I will be using it again
Kyle is turning 15
Hello again! I asked my daughter what my grandson was into this year, it changes yearly. and Dr. Who was one of them, so I went to pinterest and found a great pattern! put all of the sizes on to my cricut design and cut them out. I am happy with the results.
ink pad storage
I bought a lot of stampin up ink pads from a local seller and only had a container to keep them in .
So I went to youtube and looked up storage units for ink pads. I had to adjust the size for the larger ink pads but it works and didn't cost me a lot of money. I think under $7
Made out of foam board, glue and a lot of stick pins
believe me when it was leaning like the leaning tower of Pisa I thought for sure I would have to trash it, but plenty of glue and a sturdy back and it was not going anywhere

Clara's Christmas card
over summer a teacher friend asked people to sponsor her 2nd grade class by donating money for a monthly magazine. In her thank you card to me she said...PS you could write back to me. Well I thought that was so cute I decide to send her cards through out the year.
cake top, corsage, shower card
this was made for a woman how will be adopting my great grandson. Daughter/granddaughter has a 18month already and cannot handle another baby on her own. So this little boy is going to a loving family and will be a blessing to them.
puzzle background.
My it has been a long time since I have posted anything, so I will be doing them in groups to save some time, awhile back there was this puzzle free in design space, when I find something I don't own I tend to make several.
