good morning to all, this is for another challenge over at

Cardz TV Card Challenge # 4

Create a Thank You card. 

 

I  used us some of my scraps for this card and use 2 cartridges that I have not use in some time. Don Juan and graphically speaking.    color is what I needed for this card since it is still sooooo, white outside.

 

my first shaker card

good morning to all, Mary over at cardzTV  has a new challenge, at first I wanted to make the rattle only to be able to shake but I was unable to figure it out with it being round and so small. So early this morning I was thinking how I could do it?  then it came to me...just make the entire card a shaker   for it being my first I think I did pretty good!  Hope you like it to.

 I do wish I would have added one more layer of foam tape to keep the beads from sticking in corners...but what is a shaker  without a few stuck?

good morning to all,   for this card I started with the background, I saw a card on pinterest with a die cut with this type of a cut and I was wondering if I could get close to that with my cricut...well it worked for me!
I ran it thru the cuttle bug with the swiss dots and took a yellow ink to the top of it.  I looked at it for a week before I  thought of Pooh and his honey bees

good morning to all,  My daughter's family moved into their new home last week after a transfer to Washington State. I did see a card similar to this one somewhere on line but not sure where. I added flowers to put some color into the card.  and yes my cricut create did cut these tiny flowers.

Hi all, over at Cardz tv Mary has a baby card challenge going on, since my nephew and his wife are expecting in Oct. I thought I would make 2 one each! they don't know the sex of the baby yet, so I did both...

sorry about that my comp. was giving me problems...let's try again...

You would think it would be closer to Dec. 25th around here rather than March 19th. We got another 4 inches of wet heavy snow over night and the end is not in sight. So we have another gloomy day here in central WI. a couple weeks ago we did have a shed go down. We were lucky and got most of the equipment out. It was discovered around 3pm on a Tues. and  went down at 2 am on ash Wed.

About these cute card, I have decided since I am making cards with welds with my design studio, that I should start looking deeper into what my cartridges have to offer.  And I found this film strip in Mickey and friends.  At first I was making one card with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. But it turned out to be too much and I decided I wanted a Happy Birthday on the front, so I cut out two Pluto and another background and ended up with these two really cute cards.
They are a large 4 x 9''    cut the film strip at 4" and the characters at 2 3/4"

good morning to all, I also made a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2  of Kelly's cards.    I am going to try welding different shapes together and see what I can come up with.

good morning once again,  I was able to go and see Kelly's card now that my comp. is up and running now, and wow, was I way off. so I sat down and looked thru more cartridges and came up with this....

mine turned out square and her looks like a 5.5 x 4.25     Will try that size next to see if I can get it down in size.  next time I will have to remember to finish the inside before I put the flowers on, they got in the way being bulky.

 The idea was right but Kelly's is more elegant than mine will ever be.

I have a lot of bd coming and just need to get them done, this is for my girl friend, I try to make something that reminds me of her, and she likes to bake.

I figure it is going to get nice out soon and I don't want to be inside making cards, so I am working ahead. This one is for my m-i-l for an April bd, I liked the back ground on my mom's so I kept it the same for this one.

Mom is turning 85

good morning to all, WOW  85!!!  It has been a rough year for my mom this last one, going through back surgery in spring, then no sooner from a short recover time, back for lung cancer surgery. For everything she has been thru, she is doing well, At her age she decided not to have chemo/radiation treatments.
