mojo monday #435 and cardztv

good morning to all,  this sketch is from mojo and cardztv wanted a birthday card....I do not put a sentiment on the front of most of most of my cards. Mostly because I don't have a steady hand and I don't want to mess up the beautiful card I have spent hours on making.  With that being said I will add a small square or banner to the front with a sentiment on it but it also takes a few try and it has to look good.

Good Morning to all,
I have a lot of Birthdays coming up and made this one for MJM using the same paper I did the other day.  I am really liking these brown and black tones together... with a splash of color..I added the pearls for a different look.  I also turned the card a quarter turn.

Mom and Dad's 62 Anniversary

Hi  all, I had this design on my DS for a while now and just could not figure out what paper to make with it...I found this Recollections paper at Michaels yesterday and since I had a 50% off coupon, I bought it.

 One great thing I noticed about this paper,,,,it is made in the USA

Once again, the heat wave kept me from finishing a card and I wanted to see what it would look like with this rose,  I used 2 shades of red and inked the edges with white.. and curled up the edges.
I think there are 6 layers of red and 2 of the green

Hi all, I made 13 of these today, getting ready for next year,   I wanted to get a head start since the weather is a bit yucky, and I took the tree down yesterday... I had the time....

Lorraine's Anniversary card "56"

Hi all, today  I was helping out a new person to the cricut world, not that I am an expert or anything like that, but I am the only person Lorraine knows who own one...so I was glad to help, I have called her mom in bible study so I'm sure that is one reason she felt comfortable to ask for help. So we made a card for her daughter, a good friend, for her birthday coming up.   and I didn't get a picture of it....dang.... but I did get to make this one for Lorraine's ann. comeing up...   I found this layout on Paper in the works blog. I really love her work and don't get anywhere near the detailing but I try.... she will also sew, cut by hand and does a lot of coloring and inking, not sure if she makes her own layouts, but they are great!  here are the measurement on mine

the rose is from cricut 50 states @ 2 1/8" in blackout base and shift flower
I also used a corner punch, ink, MS pearls and a fisker punch on the inside for fun!
