For this card I went to youtube and typed in fancy fold card and this corner fold came up. I added cricut cuts that I wanted and there had to be a cat on it for my daughter. First time with this fold and I will be using it again

this is going to a young lady who was a care taker for a elderly woman, they where more like grandma and granddaughter than friends for a very long time (even though Ashley is only 23)

I was not sure how I missed this challenge this week but I sure am glad it was extended a week!!!
Then I remembered, Dad in the ER, that would take anyone away from crafting.

I Love making gift boxes, they add so much to a gift of cards, like one more present!!! 

 I found this box on youtube @ jacque1263.....super easy to put together and the perfect size for note cards
I decorated it like a card from a few post ago...

I had made 2 butterflies because I didn't know which one I wanted for the anniversary card I had made, she does not like red but I thought it looked better on the card, this card will be put away til needed, there is always something to celebrate out there, thanks for looking.

this card came together nicely for me... the paper does most of the work and I wanted the GS butterfly..
 I also discovered that I have to measure and cut a different size sentiment for each card because they do not line up the same..

Are you ready for Cricut Cardz Challenge #57? The challenge for this week is to make a card using any cartridges or theme you'd like, BUT using the colors red, black and white ONLY!

I also used 3D crystal lacquer to give the wagon a fresh coat of paint look

1st Tri-Shutter card, M & D 60th Anniversary

Hi all,  for some reason I thought a trishutter card was going to be a really big card (like 8 inches tall)
so I shied away from making one. I was looking for a new fold and found this one on splitcoaststampers on you tube, when I saw that it was only 5 1/2 inches tall I thought I would give it a try,
this is for my Mom & Dad's 60th anniversary coming up in Sept.
all the patterned paper is from linen closet.. it also took several hours to make with all of the cuts.

Mojo Monday #150

I was so happy to see Mojo Monday that I just had to make fun card with bright colors.   here we go..

Note cards.....LOTS

OH my goodness...I have been without internet for over a week now and just got it back...I have  been very busy making note cards as a thank yous for the chaperons that went on the youth gathering in New Orleans.
They are due back today, but because of the rain we have been getting in Wisconsin, the Milwaukee airport
was flooded with 7 inches of rain, so they will be back a little later than thought, safety first I always say.....

My daughter had her baby, Elijah John.... a big boy at 8pounds 1 oz. 21 inches.

I almost forgot to take pictures of my cards, I had 2 boxes packed up before I remembered....I guess that is what happens when I get out of the normal everyday on line
.I used my design studio  so I don't have any sizes, please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

For this card I had the vase and flowers made early in the morning and had know idea how it was going to look in a card, saw this layout on Shelly's card blog, it was just the right layout I was looking for

Indie Art was still out and since I love the butterfly I decided to make her one with this.

this was a fun card to make, the only thing it had to be pink and brown. and go from there.
