mojo monday 197 and Eli's first birthday card

I cannot believe that Eli will be one next month, I thought I would get his card done early with this weeks Mojo Monday,  we have not seen him since March because of the distance they live from us and the farm keeps us from going.... anyway we will see them a few days after his birthday, Sarah tells me he is walking...
I added a piece of craft plastic and tied the corners down with hemp cord and added a button to the top corner, I was going to do just the fish bowl but thought this look would look good!!!

father's day

WARNING:::: MY DAUGHTER NOW HAS HER TEMPS!!!!
she needs to learn to listen, and that running into her dads work table while parking car into garage is not okay!!! I guess this means more grey hair for me. her dad can take her out next time!!!
Hi all, For my husband I made this FD card, thank goodness for my DS. size for this car would have been a lot of guess work. I found this idea at      paper in the works   blogger, Kim has beautiful cards with lots of layers, sewing and she colors hers with markers where I use my cricut.
the only inking I did, was on the car and tan paper

                                                        the inside
cards base is 5 1/4 square
red   5 1/8 sq
blue   5" sq
4 3/4  sq stripe and dot cut into triangles
white   4 1/4 x 2 3/4
blue 4 1/8 x 2 5/8
tan   4 x 2 1/2  (white inside)
car at 2"
I like to add sizes for my own personal reference so I don't have to start over if I make a again...
you are more than welcome to use if you would like.
I cut all of the cuts above with my fiskars  rotary cutter. another thing I would be lost without!!
thanks for looking,

3-D flowers

Hi all, I made these flowers last night after I saw Joy's and the  beautiful card for her hubby Dan for father's day,
since I am a bit lazy I looked for a flower that I did not have to trim on to get a  tattered look to them....you will find Joy's here....

breast cancer survivor

Hi all, about a 18 months ago a friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age of 36, I am happy to say she is cancer free and much to my surprise pregnant with her 2nd child. she would tell you herself that God has blessed her in so many ways and kept everyone's spirits up even through the treatments and ups and downs she has had. I made this card for her.
lots of inking, tiny pearls, layering and cuttlebug

anniversary card for the in-laws

this card came together nicely for me... the paper does most of the work and I wanted the GS butterfly..
I also discovered that I have to measure and cut a different size sentiment for each card because they do not line up the same..
flat pearls, inking, twisted easel

the twins are here!!

and what a nice surprise, born on my husbands birthday!  the little girl is 4 1/2 pounds and the boy just over 5 pounds... nice size for a month early,  to welcome the little ones I made these cards for them...
lots of inking, pop dotted, layering,...
for the boys I did some doodling because I thought it needed a little more contrast with the green blending into the blue.

little piglet

while looking through some carts for an idea, I came across these stars in wild cards and thought of piglet looking at the sky, while making the flat card I figured it would look great as a easel card, so I am now ready for 2 kid birthdays coming up. I put only 2 little stars on the easel card because Elleana will be turning 2 the end of the month....
lots of layers, some inking and pop dotting

bitten by the bug 2

Hi all, I saw on face book that Carole is hostess and asked to make the cake from celebrations,,,there is also a hop going on but I'm running out of time for that...
inking, doodling,
I used my DS to weld the cake onto the card

Jason's 1st Father's day

Good Morning all, for this card I started making a A2 size card but because of the pop dotting that I did, it made the card too bulky under the fish,   on my DS it looked fine!!! so I decided to off set the trees and make it to fit into a  4 3/4 x 6 1/2 envelope....I think it turned  out better with the off set!
lots of inking, layering, pop dotting, easel card....and I am not sure if you can see, but I used real fishing line to the fish hook...you can click on picture to enlarge
