Brittany is graduating from high school this year
along with 2 of her best friends from grade school...all going to different schools, so I have 3 school colors to work with... I looked at different graduation cards on pinterest and did not find anything I liked for girls so I came up with this one. I was also unhappy with the plain papers so I added a print for a background.
will add a sentiment later.
East High colors...
the inside of each with the right colors
DC Everest and West High school colors
Layers are cut at 4 1/2 x 5 1/8 for the plain
printed paper 4 3/8 x 5
will add a sentiment later.

anniversary for in-laws
good morning to all, I saw this shaped card over at
http://kreativekornerbykelly.blogspot.com/2014/02/a-couple-of-birthday-and-few-valentines.html
I had not seen it for awhile and had to wing it because my comp. was down yesterday.
The idea was right but Kelly's is more elegant than mine will ever be.

father's day cards
Hi all, I thought I had another week before father's day...so these are a little rushed....
for my dad....who loved to travel and have a nice summer vacation
for my f-i-l....who loved the farm and still would be working it if his body would let him...
now days, he works in his garden, I should see if I have a golf cart to add to the inside, it is how he gets around....

Hi all, so I had made one too many cards base and did not want to put another flamingo on it, so I opt for a vase (from WIMG) and rose from wild card
I Spy Sketches and Cardztv
Hi all I used the sketch fro ISSC # 26 for these cards.... I like them so much I made note cards for my stash
and over at CardzTv...
"Anything Goes!" Create a card or craft project using any theme and any colors you'd like.
when I saw this sketch I thought of a flamingo (something tall and lean)
I found her in Serenade with the help of MY cut Search... I had no idea it was in there
lots of inking,,,a total of 13 flamingos

WOW...18 note cards yesterday!!!
you will find Jeannie's fish over at...
http://aplaceformycards.blogspot.com/search/label/Animal%20Kingdom?updated-max=2009-05-04T11:45:00-05:00&max-results=20&start=12&by-date=false
I made 10 of these little guys to add to my pile for Christmas and other gift giving occasions that always seem to come up, I have always liked this cute fish of Jeannie's and thought I would give it a try, I had it on my DS for a long time and was in a low mojo moment yesterday, and then made 10 of these....
lots of inking, layers,doodling,
I made 4 of Ally's you will find hers at...
http://www.rockpapercricut.com/2012/03/my-craft-spot-challenge-47-for-birds.html
I don't remember seeing this cute little chicken in from my kitchen, but I do think I will be making her more..
I am not sure what sentiment I will add under the chicken, will add later...these are 4 1/4 square with the chicken extending over the card to make a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch card....I used all scraps for these,
inking,
I also found this chicken in FMK and made 4 of these also....made these with all scraps, it is like pot luck!!!
I think the stripes are so cute....inking cuttlebug
I no longer finish the inside of note cards, when I made them last year, when I put the gifts together I noticed that there was not much space for writing, so I am leaving them blank, it also frees me up a lot!!!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR LOOKING, I hope you get a chance to look at Jeannie and Ally's, they are worth the look

sympathy card
good morning to all, last week I made a sympathy card so that I would have one made up ahead of time,
Friday, my uncle die and that card was not right for him, even though I have only seen him maybe a dozen times in my life, through the internet I got to know him a little over the past few years, like he was a medic in WWII,
he and Aunt Mary love their flowers, and this I have know for a long time, a Deacon in the Catholic Church.
He also worked for NASA.
I started with the Joy's flowers and fence behind it for left side and the cross for him being a Deacon.
comp. made the sentiment.
I had the pictures taken and decided to add some butterflies for a bit more color and what is a flower garden without butterflies, I like it both ways...cut with a punch..
so while at church this morning I noticed that the colors have been changed to purple, because we are in the season of Lent, came home and pulled it up on design studio and now it is purple....

no shopping for this girl
even though my daughter wanted to go, she had only toys on her list, toys that tomorrow she will not even have wanted. and yes there are some good deals at Joann's and Michael's I looked at my craft room and decided I have enough... So I stayed home and made this card for a church friend ...I found this tri-fold on Everyday Cricut from November 16th of this year, since I only have the small I had to do some trials, this is the 3rd one and it turned out pretty good!

cricut 360 challenge # 9 relax
for this card I wanted the paper to do the work,so all I had to do is relax and watch the butterfly. It came to mind when I found myself watching this beautiful monarch floating by my flower bed, they sure are pretty!
Challenge 9: RELAX, Labor Day is September 5. Make a card or layout with this in mind. Use ANY of the cartridges.
I put the word smile on card, because that is what I was doing :)
