peachy keen challenge #10

I was beginning to think I would not make it this week, my darling daughter upload a program for her camera and it is a much newer program than my was and I could not get it to download for anything. So I have to use hers until I can figure it out.............kids..... to say the least I don't remember which cart I used....sorry no PK.
I wanted to make something summery since we have not had much warm weather around her in central WI
talking about lows in the 30's tonight...........brrrr!

wedding card for Vicki & Todd

Just sometimes the paper takes over and tells me how it is to be done.
the paper is DCWV Rustic stack the picture does not do it justice because it
has a beautiful sparkle to it. the butterfly is 3" Indie Art cut 3 times with
the pearls down the center and extra stickles for more bling!
and cannot forget the inking.
MS lacy punch and MS butterfly punches
computer sentiment.
I tried different colored butterflies but I kept coming back to this
plum color. It looks great in person!

peachy keen challenge #9

good morning this card is for peachy keen challenge #9 use a square, circle & star

this card I used my computer first to see if it could be done, I was trying to create a different
looking flower, started with the circle added squares and saw a star!
I made a quilt block! Much to my surprise!
I think it turned out great...hope you like it

ALL MADE FROM CRICUT CART GEORGE
started out with a 6" square card
6" yellow background
5 1~2" square silhouette (r-shift)
2" circle
8, 1" squares then 4 for the inside

made mostly from scraps since that is how I would make a quilt!
OOPS!, went back to add stitching look to inside of card, noticed after picture was taken

okie challenge- sympathy card 8-12-09

this card is going to Marcia S. family. I sent out a sympathy card when her father died in spring. But are now having a service in town because they had moved away. Any way I thought a thinking of you card would be more appropriate with the time that has past.

I have always wanted to do a silhouette, and when I saw this design this came to mind.
2nd picture is the inside of the card, will write in it at a later date when I know who is getting it
for a Christmas card. No peach keen stamp was used on this card

anniversary card L & P

this card was made for my brother and sister-in-law for their 21st anniversary.
wow, has it been that long? it was also an okie challenge from 8-5-09 .

going to WA for a ill 13year old

this one was hard for me, a request for a 13 year old girl, who does not like frilly or pink,
in fact hates pink! and likes the scull and guitar stuff, after all my worry, I think it turned
out good. Britt approved! so I was on the right track with this one!

my craft room

this is where I do my cards and where I keep my supplies. My sweet Hubby put shelves in the wardrobe for me for Valentines Day 2009. I asked for them in place of flowers. It works out great for my paper. The drawers have my glues, buttons, ribbons and more!

I also have great lighting in this small room. The darkest nights and I can see everything. Might get a bit tired, but then I go to bed.
