It has been awhile

 Oh my goodness, I have been so busy since my daughter has moved back in with her daughter that I did not even know there were pictures still in my camera that I have not posted, but then I have not had much time to make cards either. So it has been a roller coaster of emotions for me around here.

good morning to all,  I had very little time to make this card. I made it on Sunday because I did not find out we were invited until the night before, good thing I still had Jacob's card saved in my design studio... pink has to be the hardest color to get a good match to,.....

Hello to all,   this is perfect timing for a challenge and a baby/child themed card, I had to make this one for my nephews baby boy anyway.   I love this Indie Art cross for religious cards, the layers work well in any color and I like to make the small one a gold tone.
I am entering this at Verve's April Diva Dare:  the theme is Little Things...make a card for a child or baby.

 the inside is comp. generated from an old Hallmark card shoppe that I have, and just figured out how to get it on my lap top.

good morning to all, another cold day here in central WI.   20 for the high today and the wind makes it that much worse....I am house bound and can not drive at least til Friday from a surgery to remove my gall bladder, so I am thinking here..I pick the right week to have to stay in!

About Jacob's first card I made,  I was not happy with it at all and this morning made a new one with  cross that will be on the top of his cake...

these are much better colors for a baby boy,,, I think there was too much white on the first one I  made.

this I made for my grandson Jacob.

Hi all, I am so excited the way Eli's card turned out, all I knew this morning was that I wanted it to have layers, a cross and the same paper I used on the baby shower invitations, and to make it even better, the strips matched up on the inside of the card, and I did not even try, I was just so glad I had enough paper!!
I used Indie Art for the cross, George for the ovals and Home Accents for the corners.
and I used my design studio to make the right sizes. finish size is 5 1/2" square.
for the inside I printed from my Hallmark Christian card studio.
