what I thought was so cute about it. was that the tools do not match the screws and nails on the boards and that there are plenty holding them in place.
I made the wrenches with George and basic shapes with my Design studio

Mojo Monday # 253

Hi all, yesterday in Church I found out that  a lovely lady, who always has a warm greeting for anyone, any time, had surgery on some brain tumors  (not the first time) is recovering in the hospital and Pastor had talked to her the night before and her spirits are good.
I thought what ever the MJM sketch would be, I would make a get well card for her, I love the way the bow looks like a butterfly....

            I have plenty of birthdays coming up.....

Birthday Sundaes # 29

 Hi all, My girl friend's birthday is coming up next week and I was not sure if I wanted Happy Birthday on the front until I found this challenge over at birthday sundaes,  she is a breast cancer survivor, pregnant, and now fighting for her life and the babies with liver cancer. A strong woman, who has only said  God has blessed her in so many ways.... I know she likes the old country look so I went with this cute rooster.. lots of layers, and tiny pearls

wedding card

Hi all, I thought I would post this one today since I have my daughter tomorrow to help clean up around here, her BD is next week and she is old enough to do a few things.
our Pastor  married over Labor Day weekend and surprised the congregation, He told use they would be getting married around Christmas time, so he took me a little off guard and I quick made them this one.
  it is another Kim card, well the start of one, I added the hearts and she had a cute little moose on hers.
tiny pearls and a angel charm with memory thread holding it on.

Wow,  it is hard to believe that it will be my daughters  and s-i-l's 10th anniversary, they where married 4 days after 911 and the memories are bitter sweet,

mojo monday #201 and My Craft spot

Hi all, for this card I wanted to keep it simple, I have a friend who will be walking in the
Susan G Komen race for a cure fund this year and is asking for donations, so I thought I would make a card along with sending a check.  I used mojo Monday for the sketch and for my craft spot they wanted embossing.
I added the tiny pearls to the ribbon because they got lost on the white background.
this is the 2nd year the Komen race will be hosted in Wausau, .... a worthy cause.
for the ribbon I used Cindy Loo pg.42 shift layer on  real dial size @ 2 inches

baby card

Hi all, I did get my Verve stamps yesterday and had to try them out, at least one,
I made the baby card for pastor and his wife, she is due any day now,
anyway I love Julee's stamps....
