another folded frame Jeremiah's BD

I liked making this folded frame card that I made another. this one was the correct size from

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/foldedframe/

I have them both side by side so you can see what 3/4's of an inch will do to this card!

and for those of you who don't know me, I leave the inside of my cards black so that they can be reused by family members.

this way they do not get tossed!
and the 2 side by side.

folded frame & Courtney's BD

this card is for my granddaughters 11th birthday....wow 11 where does the time go?

this morning I found this frame fold on scrapstampnMama blog and  Ellen found it at

Split Coast Stampers

thank you for the great instructions!

this cute little bear I won from Shelly's blog   it is a  bugaboo digi stamp!   I love it!   I made it a little bit bigger than would fit into the square inside the frame so I made it a 5 inches square and marked it at the 1 and 1 1/2 inch marks..... even thought the corners do not touch I think it still turned out well!

crafty creations challenge #53

crafty creations challenge #53

this weeks challenge is to use "wings" on your project!

I wanted to do something a bit different since when I think of wings, I think of butterflies, so I went to 50 states
and found this loon.....
 50 states   loon cut @ 1"
 cricut sampler trees @ 2 1/4"
tore blue paper to make the water
fiskers punch  sea pearls for the corners
Don Juan   DAD @ 3/4"
and DJ thinking of you @ 3/4" with the coffee cup cut off
brown inking also!

for those of you who are new to my blog,  this is how I do the inside of my cards for my family,
for years I have remodeled my sisters  stamped cards so that they can be reused instead of trashed.
(My parents are not keepers of anything) so I have decided to do this for every family member
they like getting a hand made card and also be able to send to a friend.

thanks for looking!

MoJoMonday # 124 Breast Cancer awareness

I found this free digi stamp at

How cute are these!!! and I just happened to look at the freebies and there I found Penny.  Could not believe my eyes. And the timing could not have been better. so I downloaded Penny and this is how she turned out.   Thank you so much Jodie!
the ribbon was made on my cricut....... I took the... &... from George and trimmed off the bottom to make the ribbon.
