getting better at getting around the design space, if you are a cricut owner, I found that You Tube is great for information on different ins and outs of the DS, made 3 of these

while I was at my sisters she showed me some cards that she was giving to a woman in charge of hospice volunteers. If I understood right, they have volunteer  card makers make cards for the volunteer caregivers in hospice, not sure how they give them out but I am making doubles and saving them for her when I see my sister to be part of this great organization. I did have to cover my handmade by.... up because it is suppose to be anonymous.
and that is all I will be sharing with this blog about this, not sure if they will get these because they are over sized, but I will be saving some for them in the future.

I had a baptism to go to half way into my free week.
It was something I was looking forward to since the baby was born, anyway I was suppose to stay with my daughter, son-in-law and the kids for one night. turns out Aubrey was sick with influenza B and there was no way I could stay with them and go see a tiny baby, so I stayed with my sister for the 2 nights. It was great! I needed a time away from home even for a short time.
She has punches and not a cricut so I punched out 10 of these boarded cards for each of us and finished them at home with the flowers cut from my cricut.

for this one I just typed in tulips and so many beautiful flowers came up
I was totally tired when I made these, when it came to put them on the card I wanted to put foam tape on one to see how it would look, well I put all of the tape on the front of the one and did not even notice until I wanted to add it to the card...that one ended up in the garbage :(

Lots of cards for you to see over the next week

I bought a new Cricut Explore One a few weeks ago because the were closing the craft room and my old machine was not supported by design space, so I was kind of up the creek either buy a new machine or lose the digital cartridges I purchased on line. bummer I know but I must say I like the explore one. I did a lot of online checking which machine would work best for me and with the coupon, free shipping and 2 week free access to most not all of the design space images I took advantage of the the 2 week and made over 70 cards, why it will take a while to down load them all. I did get all of my Christmas card finished. So here goes...
this first one was a easy one to try out my new adventures with design space and machine, going to my nephew for his birthday in Sept.,,,,hay it was free and he likes video games
I do not remember the cartridges any of these came from because I don't own them, but it is easy to find, just look under images and type in game control or boots for the next one and a group of  ideas will come up

 I made a pair of boots when I  had them free for a week, because they do that weekly, and wanted to make another card ..
