this was made for a woman how will be adopting my great grandson. Daughter/granddaughter has a 18month already and cannot handle another baby on her own. So this little boy is going to a loving family and will be a blessing to them.

baby shower for Becky
Hi all, this morning my daughter asked me to make her a baby shower card for tomorrow....a lot of notice there!!!I went with i spy sketches, made it square and had to make a special envelope for it because it turned out to be a 6 1/8 square card, just a little more work for me, but I got it done!!!!
I love these little feet from new arrival, no inking on this card I wanted to keep it clean looking, looks a bit washed out from the lighting..

Laura's baby shower card and our 1st snow!
Hi all, this is for my girlfriend who has been through breast cancer, now expecting a baby and after she was pg found out she has liver cancer, her and baby are doing fine with chemo,
the invite had cute little baby feet on the cover so I went with that for this card, I believe this is an old mojo sketch.
this is 1/2 hour into the snow storm that we are in, expecting 3 to 5 inches of heavy wet snow, we have a lot more now!!

cake top, corsage and oops!!!
I thought I had a week to finish this, but I think I a getting my husband cold so I had to hurry this up before I was not up to making anything.
the pot will be going on the top of my nephews wife's baby shower cake, they are expecting twins...so exciting for them and the corsage for her...
will take pictures at shower with Kelly wearing the corsage and the topper on top of the cake...
now for the oops!!!... I was going to put these around the flower pot, but I added the shadow on each of the critters and it made them too stiff to shape around the curve of the pot., so I made the hearts and stars.
SO NEXT TIME NO SHADOW!!!

cards for twins
Good morning, I decided to take a break from the cake top that I have been making for my nephews twins
(will post when finished) to work on the cards, I got the idea from Charlene Driggs over at
paper and ink playground, she used spellbinders while I used my cricut wild card cartridge.
inking and some doodling...
yup!!! a boy and a girl

Baby shower pictures
Oh My!!! what a beautiful weekend, went by all to fast. Sarah was glowing, the weather was gorgeous, the food was great, (I had so much help in this department!) So here are some pictures of the shower.
Sarah with her courage and the cake behind her, looks like the monkey flipped around
the reflective signs sure show up!!
the finished cake, I found these cute teething links at Shopko and thought they would look good on the cake, then she could take them home also. everyone had a great time, thanks for looking.

MoJoMonday # 132
Hi all, for you who know my blog, you know that I have been getting ready for my daughters baby shower coming up. I made this card for her and it matches the cake top, the corsage and the invitations that I have been busy making. I love it when things just fall into place. (That does not happen often for me)
I used the same papers, and since it is a boy I did not want to put ribbon on it so I added the rattle
rattle @ 1 1/4" and monkey @ 2 1/4" cut from my cricut.
Hope you like.

if you would like to see the cake top, corsage and invitations, you can find them on earlier post on this blog!
thanks for looking! Carol<><

and corsage to match
Hello all, for this cake top I decided to make a matching corsage to go with it and I think it turned out pretty good. (my first cake top was for a girl a year ago)
a lot going on here!
blackout and shadow for all from my cricut New Arrival
4 & 2 inches for the onsie,
feet @ 3 & 1 1/4"with George circle @ 3 1/2 and 1 1/2"
rattle @ 4 1/2 & 2 1/2
monkey @ 4 & 2"
safety pins 3 1/4 for the center piece and 3 1/2 for the corsage I also cut
2 layers from a cereal box to give it strength
bottle @ 4 & 2"
train @ 2 3/4"
gifts in blackout only @ 1 1/2"
bear @ 1 1/2" , giraffe @ 2" & the plane @ 1"
paper from my newest collection..twinkle twinkle little boy from My Mind's Eye
this will go on the top of my daughter's baby shower cake that I will be making the end of April, but I was so excited how it turned out that I didn't want to wait for the cake. so here it is! and this is the first time I tried to make a corsage. It is tied with embroidery floss in blue.
was not sure how the crackle was going to look, the paint was thick and hard to work with but in the I think it worked out well. oops, I forgot to put the little button on for the wheels. will do that later.
I added a ruler next to the corsage so you could get an idea of the size it is,
will post picture of the cake with its top on and maybe my daughter with her corsage!
thanks for looking Carol<><
don't know how I missed this picture, not in order but I did not want to take the chance of everything getting deleted, so here it is last. Sorry I normally don't have such long post...

baby shower
I made these for my daughters baby shower, but of course I had to wait to see if it was a girl or a boy...
I could have started, because I was right...."It's a Boy!"
tools I used
computer for the working
rotary cutter , cuttlebug, scor-pal
Martha Stewart punch and cricut cuter for the bootie
I made 29 of these and need 4 more...
