hello again, I decided to match the everything this time,
the flowers are called Gerber daisy's these flowers are a lot bigger than what I thought they would be and yet it still took 7 of they in this small pot, It will go on top of a sheet cake for the shower.

Good morning to all, It is snowing in central WI this morning, had to warn my daughter of the "it is slippery out and people are not used to snow on the ground, so slow down" I think it went in one ear and out the other....

thinking of you
Good morning to all, or maybe I should say very foggy out today!!!
I have been wanting to make this card since I first saw it 3 years ago on Kelly's blog, but I did not have my design studio at that point and when I did have it, I just could not get it to weld properly .....until now... I found this on pinterst, pined it and forgot about it, until a few days ago I was looking through boards and saw an interesting picture that said my cricut font list, updated monthly...even though I don't have many font cartridges I clicked on it anyway.....and happy I did ...the front page said cricut lovers guide to design studio..
Design Studio Tutorials you will find it here.......
http://myfaqcricutds.blogspot.com/
then go to...Welding objects/text inside a shape
also for the gypsy and cricut message board
Now for Kelly's card....you will find it here...
http://kreativekornerbykelly.blogspot.com/2009/09/you-are-in-our-thoughts-and-prayers.html
I made this pattern like Kelly's, after reading hers she downloaded this from a file, I made mine
one diamond at a time.....saved it for next time!!!

My craft spot challenge # 69
good morning to all, and a chilly start to the day. Last night we had a strong cold front come through. I thought we were in a tornado, it hit so hard and fast even took the power out for about 2 hours. Thank goodness for the generator, the guys were able to finish milking, I remember when we didn't have a generator.... those poor cows had to wait with a full bag until the power went back on, sometimes hours and then we had to finish no matter how late it was....
this is for my craft spot

Mojo Monday # 253
Hi all, yesterday in Church I found out that a lovely lady, who always has a warm greeting for anyone, any time, had surgery on some brain tumors (not the first time) is recovering in the hospital and Pastor had talked to her the night before and her spirits are good.
I thought what ever the MJM sketch would be, I would make a get well card for her, I love the way the bow looks like a butterfly....
I have plenty of birthdays coming up.....

father's day
WARNING:::: MY DAUGHTER NOW HAS HER TEMPS!!!!
she needs to learn to listen, and that running into her dads work table while parking car into garage is not okay!!! I guess this means more grey hair for me. her dad can take her out next time!!!
Hi all, For my husband I made this FD card, thank goodness for my DS. size for this car would have been a lot of guess work. I found this idea at paper in the works blogger, Kim has beautiful cards with lots of layers, sewing and she colors hers with markers where I use my cricut.
the only inking I did, was on the car and tan paper
the inside
cards base is 5 1/4 square
red 5 1/8 sq
blue 5" sq
4 3/4 sq stripe and dot cut into triangles
white 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
blue 4 1/8 x 2 5/8
tan 4 x 2 1/2 (white inside)
car at 2"
I like to add sizes for my own personal reference so I don't have to start over if I make a again...
you are more than welcome to use if you would like.
I cut all of the cuts above with my fiskars rotary cutter. another thing I would be lost without!!
thanks for looking,
Carol<><

anniversary card for the in-laws
this card came together nicely for me... the paper does most of the work and I wanted the GS butterfly..
I also discovered that I have to measure and cut a different size sentiment for each card because they do not line up the same..
flat pearls, inking, twisted easel
