Miss Briella is turning 6
Hello, I have no idea what kids are into these days, so I ask my sister what her granddaughter would like on her card, she did not have to think long and said any thing with dance on it.
she was cut at 5 1/4 inches and I love the background paper, it looks like she is on stage.

Kyle's turning 11
good morning to all, what a crazy snowy day it is today,
This was a fun card to make for my grandson, it is a large 8 x 5 1/2 inch card made from Mini monsters, I also added the batman buckle made from George and paper doll dress up. He is still in the batman stage and I am thinking he will love this. It was quick and easy to make.

Clara is turning 3
When I was talking to my sister and asking what Ava likes, she reminded me that Clara's bd is coming up soon also. So I made hers right away and can send them at the same time. I have not made a paper doll for some time and thought it was time to get the cartridge out.

Jacob is turning 1
good morning to all, Wow, where did the time go! I was going to put this cute little bear on a wobble but decide for a 1 year old it would be apart in no time.
I originally made the fence, rope and skull for the front of the card, but it was too much so I decorated the inside also.

Kyle's 10th Birthday
Hello to all, Kyle was our little surprise when he was born, see, the ultra sound my daughter had was a 95% chance of him being a girl, goes to show you that they have a little room for a mistake, lets just say I had to return a lot of pink. At Christmas time, which is no fun at all!
Any way out little man loves Bat man and I do not have anything bat man so I went to my paper doll dress up cartridge super boy on page 56 and used black for bat colors, used my DS to weld the mask and hair together to get to look of BM and used the diamond shape from George for the pointy ears. I am sure he will love it!

Braeden turned 9 and Noah turns 7
good morning to all, It has been a while since I last post a card and with good reason! we have been remodeling our bath room (pictures to come). I now have a walk in shower and don't have to climb over a tub!
But about the card...My grandson turned 9 the end of April and he loves his sports, baseball the season we are in now....
Made and oops on Noah's, much to my surprise, he turned 7 (I put 6 on the card)
Noah got a red 3wheeler for his bd, I love when the background paper is a big part of the card!

Card # 5
Good Morning to all, The sun is shining brightly into my craft room this lovely morning....
Wow! this card, what to say about it! It was a challenge with all the tiny pieces and it was even cut at 4 inches. I must have use the wrong brown, because it shred to pieces and had to remove and clean the cutter from all the fibers wrapped around the blade. So I went to the rust orange. so glad this one is done!
I did not want to ink all those tiny piece, so I did enough for the look!

unicorn with rainbow
Hi all, as long as I was trying something new with backgrounds I thought I would give a rainbow a try.
Many, many years ago, when I worked at a bakery as a cake decorator, I would spay rainbows onto a cake and add a little plastic unicorn on top, it was a good sell for little girls. I must say it is pretty close...
even though this looks all right, I think paper would would work just as well and not make a big inky mess, there is a oops under the unicorn, good thing she covers it up!!!

fishing
good morning, I showed my daughter the "you rock" card I had made for her boyfriend and she looked at it and told me he is not into music...he is into fishing, so back to the drawing board and I came up with this one.
If she thinks it is too girly, she will be getting it for her bd... it is a coral color, looks more pink in picture.

for Aubrey and Braeden and challenges
Hi all, it seems like a long time since I last posted, only a week. I have been cleaning in my daughters bedroom while she is gone to an FFA convention in Indiana. I figured she asked me to wash her bedding while she was gone it would be a good time to pick up, you would think that a 16 year old would know what a garbage can was used for, tags from clothes, little pieces of paper, soda and water bottles under her bed, and a bunch of other stuff that was just out of place.....anyway about the project I made...
this is for my grand kids, they are to the age they want to put things together, so I made this to go on their patio window, it is also for 2 challenges....
Cricut 360 challenge ....create a spooky project with a spider and the colors purple, green and orange..
and at My Craft Spot...
This weeks Challenge: 3D Halloween!
I had seen a pumpkin made this way and made a spider
Brittany is in heaven..... I bought her 2 cute blouses for her trip, turns out they had to button up all the way so that the FFA scarf would fit under the collar, she is wearing her dads shirt here, I found 2 that were fitted and sure enough, they fit!!! yes she is tall, but to be fair, my craft room has low ceilings. she is 5' 8" and I am
5' 2" so I have to look up to her....

Paper cutz challenge # 109
Hi all, I found this cute side step design at ..
http://www.frenchiestamps.com/2011/09/stampinup-siply-scored-side-step-card.html
she has a video on how to make this card, size and score, thought I would give it a try, it went together nicely in less than an hour.
Challenge #109 is "Caution - Ghost Crossing!" Make a card, LO or craft project for Halloween using Cricut cut, hand stamped, or digital stamped ghosts, and the colors black, white, purple and orange ONLY!

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 85
Hi all, Mary over at CCC is asking for....
Challenge #85 Holiday - Anything Goes! Make a card for any holiday you choose, using any cartridge and colors you'd like.
I have made lots of Christmas cards this year and thought I would try Halloween ...
lots of inking. I also kept the tree with the over hang of the branches, I thought it looked more interesting....
I used only scraps and did not have enough blue for the inside. so I just cut it in half and added the rest of the fence and more leaves that had fallen off of the tree....
this is a 5 1/4 square and will fit into a half fold card envelope.
