my clean craft room

My niece took the twin size bed that I had offered her and now that it is gone I was able to make this room my own, not that it wasn't, but I have more room and it is great.... not sure how long it will stay this clean but I just had to take some pictures....
I love this picture of my girls when they where little, they are all mommas now,,,
Sarah in the center, is the one who just made me grandma for the 5th time
Jamie to the right   has Braeden 6 and Aubrey 3
Kris to the left   has Courtney 11 and Kyle 6
my work area with lots of light, I do most of my work at night so my hubby bought me some great lighting.
this wardrobe has my papers in the tall closets, I asked for shelves instead of flowers for Valentines Day one year and they work out great.....great gift from him!!! The drawers hold my stickles, glues, embellishments, stamps, ribbons....My sister embroidered the Hummal  girl in the center...she did a great job!!!

Note cards.....LOTS

OH my goodness...I have been without internet for over a week now and just got it back...I have  been very busy making note cards as a thank yous for the chaperons that went on the youth gathering in New Orleans.
They are due back today, but because of the rain we have been getting in Wisconsin, the Milwaukee airport
was flooded with 7 inches of rain, so they will be back a little later than thought, safety first I always say.....
BEFORE I GET TO THE PICTURES .....I HAVE GREAT NEWS

My daughter had her baby, Elijah John.... a big boy at 8pounds 1 oz. 21 inches.

I almost forgot to take pictures of my cards, I had 2 boxes packed up before I remembered....I guess that is what happens when I get out of the normal everyday on line
.I used my design studio  so I don't have any sizes, please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
here goes.....30 cards in all and 5 boxes
these next sets are for the Pastors

Post your name and a link to your creation in Mr Linky by midnight EST, Thursday, July 15th. If you're picked as the winner by random.org, your name will go in the drawing for July's grand prize! Good luck guys!

Since I had my Holiday cake cartridge out I thought the car that I had just made for my nephew, that it might look good as a Christmas card....this is what I came up with
the paper is color mates in deep and light terrific teal
                                                   opened up
not my normal Christmas card, but I think for the challenge it worked out good!
thanks for looking and enjoy your day!!! Carol<><

Brian's BD card

Hi all another design Studio card, I am really liking this, and saving  on a lot of paper!
the car was a lot smaller than I thought it would have been and the ds saved me time and paper...
A few weeks ago we were invited to my nephews home for a house warming party, I had totally forgotten about his antique car that he has, so I had to make his BD card with one on.

Peachy Keen Challenge # 32

For Challenge 32, we want you to create a card or layout (any size) based on your favorite summer vacation destination. You must also include one of the following three "B"'s: Buttons, Brads or Bling.

this one is for PKC
I live on a dairy farm in central WI  and anything considered a vacation would be after morning milking and before evening milking, so we are looking at a 7 hour window and when we do get away it is with family, grandchildren, food and fun.

annvesary cards

I have 2 anniversary cards to make this month but ended up making 6,  6 you might say???
I was looking at these cuts and found that the negatives where just as interesting as the positives,
so I made them all up, the first set are the ones that I had in my head and the others are for the future,

Kay's BD Card

For this card I had the vase and flowers made early in the morning and had know idea how it was going to look in a card, saw this layout on Shelly's card blog, it was just the right layout I was looking for
thanks Shelly!!!  hers is much better though,,,
again I forgot to mark down the sizes....WIMG, MS punch,
for the cut in the vase I used DS w/ Accent Essentials

Jason's BD card

Hi all,, I know it has been awhile, just in a slump and figuring out my design studio, computer and just trying to stay cool.
Here is the first I made with the DS. and I did not take down the sizes, go figure.
anyway all are from going places.  inking
looks a bit washed out in this picture....

lady bugs

Hi all, since I saw the lady bug last week I have wanted to make a card with them on. Since then I got a laptop had to figure out how to reset my Kodak picture easyshare software  onto this
(it took 4 tries to get it right)
this is my first post with my new system.
Accent Essential  # 41 page 72 @ 3,3 1/2,  2, 2 1/2"
Doodle Charms @ 3/4, 1,  1 1/4 @ 1 1/2"
made into pedestal card
I also figured out how to sign the picture,  will take a bit to get use to this laptop, but in the long run I believe I will enjoy this also!!   take care,    Carol<><

Oh, I was also busy cleaning, have you seen "hording buried" alive on TLC???  I am not a pack rat, in fact I hate clutter and I am not a keeper of most things. It has to mean a lot to me, anyway, after seeing that show and how some people live I thought it was time to clear somethings out. I ended up with a trunk load for Good Will and I will not  miss any of it. Feels good to be rid of it!....just thought I would share!
