It is always good to have a Welcome Baby card handy. Lets make a card for the little ones in pastel colors and adding some dry embossing if possible. Use ANY cartridge.

kraft paper @ 4 11/16  square because that is what would fit into cuttlebug folder
brown papers left to right   1 3/4 sq,  2 3/4 x 1 3/4
1 3/4 x 2 3/4,  2 3/4 sq
for the patterned paper cut 1/8 inch smaller

Hi all, I thought I would post the cake I had made for Britt, it seems like cheating to me since I have made cakes for DQ and a bakery for years, this goes together so nicely.... that I really like simplicity best!!!

I found these little candle holders at Michaels... I took some glue dots to keep the paper on the glass and it keeps the paper out of the frosting.....a must to keep the paper from taking on moisture and grease...

   wow, what a ride! Britt is our adopted daughter, we had her full time since she was 3 months, our oldest daughter was not ready to have children, so we have been blessed for the past 16 year raising her...

3 challenges in one!!!

                   I love this little guy, fall just seems to bring them out looking for food before they go to sleep for the winter. I also did not have a belated stamp so I printed it with the help of my comp... I think I will do that more often, I like the way I can size it!

me, until one day I had a great coupon and she did go into Michaels with me, anyway she saw this paper and thought it was really cool. I knew for  MJM  I would be using this paper with a guitar, the sketch was the only thing I was waiting for....

 

she was right , it does make a cool teen card!

Hi all, I thought I would post this one today since I have my daughter tomorrow to help clean up around here, her BD is next week and she is old enough to do a few things.
our Pastor  married over Labor Day weekend and surprised the congregation, He told use they would be getting married around Christmas time, so he took me a little off guard and I quick made them this one.
  it is another Kim card, well the start of one, I added the hearts and she had a cute little moose on hers.
tiny pearls and a angel charm with memory thread holding it on.

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #26 - Criss Cross Birthday Card

This week our challenge is to make a criss cross birthday card. 

this is for my niece who will be turning 33, WOW the years really add up!
I started with DS and welded WW frame to a 12 inch piece of paper and scored at 4 and 8 after centering it.
I have a create so it ended up a little  less than 12"...... the size of the card is 4" x 5"

next time I would use brighter colors

First, I want to thank all of you who sent Breast Cancer cards over to Kathy!  That was VERY nice of you to help out with this great cause.  Kathy just sent me over another letter.  If any of you have more time and are willing, they would love to get a card for all the attendees.  Please write a little note of encouragement or anything on the inside of the card.  Thank you everyone!!  I know that we are all blessed when we serve others.

I tried for 2 in one this week, I have been watching twins and they are a hand full!

they are 3 months old a boy and girl and I am helping my nephew and his wife until the find someone full time....

Hello, the weather sure has taken a change for the cool side, we had about 1 1/2 inches of rain on Sat. and would not let up! it poured and would stop off and on all day, so I had plenty of time to craft...
these cute little snowmen are for the changing weather we have, Labor day is in the 60's for the high, another great crafting day between chores,,,

good morning,  I got a little carried away with these guitars, but I can always use them in the future, Britt seems to ask at the last minutes for a card for a friend.
I added a little spider stamp on the red guitars and white pen on the you rock!!!

Good Morning all,  I decided to include the  married nieces and  nephews in the Christmas note cards, so that add 6 more boxes to my collection, anyway since they have small children I added these cute little rain deer.
 I also cut away the bottom of the front background so that I would not have to add more bulk and it has the same effect ....snow on the ground!  I also cuttlebuged the tree

here is the 4th set, I love butterflies and wanted to make them for in the Christmas boxes. not sure if I want to add something on the bottom or just leave them as is, right now they are fine by me, maybe in a few days I will think of an addition, and the 5th set is still in my head, will get it onto my DS later...

Good morning again,   I am so glad that I made a sample butterfly before I cut out 14 of them, as much as I love this butterfly, when I saw all I would have to clean off the mat I decided against it, so I went to Indie Art good old butterfly for the 14 cards that will be in my next post,
I put this one to good use and added some faux stitching for this challenge...over at My Craft Spot
