mojo Monday # 337 2nd card

good morning to all,  I had 2 snowflakes cut from yesterday and decided to start on my Christmas cards for 2014, and I wanted to try out my new stamp.

Hi everyone, It has been a long time since I have followed a sketch, this one just happens to be a MJM.
wow and the ideas are just coming out of my head....more cards to come....for this card I wanted a snowflake and for it to be blue, like the cold weather we are getting...for it only getting up to a -17 for the high and wind chill -45 to -50.  school was canceled for today and is also for tomorrow.  anyway I hope all are doing well and making the best of this years winter. I know a lot of people are in the same blizzard as I am and pray you are save while out and about. As for me, my husband is taking me back and forth to the barn for me to do my chores, but my silo is froze up and the guys are feeding the animals for me, so I don't break it...lol

Hi, I have had this set for a bit now and wanted to try it out! I am really happy with the way it cuts and how the stamps line up so nice, I did not get creative with these cards they are in the Verve shop gallery.
I did add an extra green behind the flower to set is off a little bit more.

My oldest daughter is turning 38

Today is a good day to stay inside and catch up on things. It is bitter cold here in WI and schools are already closed for tomorrow. I know I am not the only one in bad weather and I also know there is worse out there. So my prayer to all is for you to be safe and stay warm, and for all going to the Packer game....safety first.

wow, these kids are growing up so fast, Noah is my nephews son and is the spit en image of him. since I had M & F out I would make a Mickey Mouse card for him.

Aubrey is turning 7

My granddaughter was just to Disney world in Dec with her family and thought it would be cute to have a Minny Mouse theme. She is also learning how to play the piano and I thought this punch with the stripes looked like a keyboard.

Kyle's 10th Birthday

Hello to all, Kyle was our little surprise when he was born, see, the ultra sound my daughter had was a 95% chance of him being a girl, goes to show you that they have a little room for a mistake, lets just say I had to return a lot of pink. At Christmas time, which is no fun at all!
Any way out little man loves Bat man and I do not have anything bat man so I went to my paper doll dress up cartridge super boy  on page 56 and used black for bat colors, used my DS to weld the mask and hair together to get to look of BM and used the diamond shape from George for the pointy ears. I am sure he will love it!

sympathy for family

Good morning to all, now let me see if I remember what I am doing to post my cards, it has been a while!
things have been crazy around here for some time now, with my mother having back surgery this summer to them finding a mass on her lung during a routine x-ray and it turning out to be cancer, they removed 40% of her left lung, For everything she has been through this year, she is doing well. She decided not to go with the chemo and radiation, because she is just wore out and the treatments are not guaranteed. She is 84 and we kids respect her decision.
On Nov. 2nd my daughter was in a car accident, we are blessed she is alive, she got severe whip lash, her left should is banged up and her back, the chiropractor did not sugar coat anything when he talked to her, he also said that she could be worse off and be paralized.

this first card is for my husbands cousin who lost his wife yesterday, she was only 64,  Not only are sympathy cards hard for me to make, but it also being winter (no butterflies) so I hope this is fine!
