set 3 of 14 cards
Okay, now I am just surprising myself....I love this cardinal and everything about these cards, and I am glad I used my cuttlebug for the little extra touch since I am not inking on these sets...oh and I did add a little white pen on the branch for a snow effect.
I also have the next set on my DS and the 5th set is in my head ready to go onto my DS.

set 2 of 14 cards
Hi all, I am really on the roll, I have 2 sets done and if I keep this up I might not want to see another card for a while,,,, who am I kidding, not going to happen....I did make enough circles to go behind each roster but they did not look good on all papers, so I didn't put them on all....

14 of these!!!!
good morning to all, Yesterday I decided to get a start on my Christmas presents....what better gift than handmade note cards! I counted up the ladies in the family and added a couple more, in case i forgot someone, or just need an unexpected gift. so I got out my DS and put this one together times 14,,, cutting and assembling went together nicely, I did not ink, because I would still be at it if I did, also not all blacks are the same from.... one package they were jet black and the next opened was more charcoal black. I will also be making the boxes for them to go into. all cards will be the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to fit into an invitation size envelope
one set down 5 or 7 to go (depending on what fits into the box or if I get tired of it)

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 89 and cards for men # 17
for Cricut Cardz Challenge #89 The challenge for this week is "It's a Jungle Out There!" Make a child’s birthday card using something you’d see in a jungle…monkey, lion, tiger, giraffe, zebra, hippo, etc, and any cartridges or colors you’d like.
this one was so easy for me to put together, I had this on my DS for over a year, I was trying out different ways to weld and this was one of my first, just did not use it until now. I also did not have Life is a Beach when I designed this so I was happy to add the big leaf. I am also glad that there are lots of babies, because with this giraffe it looks a bit babyish...well, it did say for a child!! and there are lots of little boys around too!
paper is from k &company itsy bitsy baby boy and k&c wild saffron
Challenge 17 - Anything Goes
at Cards for Men, and this time we have a really fun one for you:
ANYTHING GOES
(but remember, the card/project has to be for a boy/man)

cricut 360 challenge # 9 relax
for this card I wanted the paper to do the work,so all I had to do is relax and watch the butterfly. It came to mind when I found myself watching this beautiful monarch floating by my flower bed, they sure are pretty!
Challenge 9: RELAX, Labor Day is September 5. Make a card or layout with this in mind. Use ANY of the cartridges.
I put the word smile on card, because that is what I was doing :)

little tip from Carol
did you ever ink a project and after the fact remember you wanted to run it thru the cuttlebug??
I have lots of times, problem is that I don't want ink on my folder,,,,, solution to the problem, put a piece of tissue on the inked side before closing your folder and running it thru the cuttlebug, any ink will stay on the tissue and will save your folder for future times....
I hope that I have helped in a little way
