Hello to all, it has been sometime since I have made a card, but it has been crazy around here. My mother in law has been in the hospital with fungal meningitis and has not been doing well. I had all of my June cards done before she got this nasty disease, she had won that battle then had 3 strokes. Is now in a nursing home (not liking it one bit).
I needed a break so I made this for my son-in-law, next I have one to make for my grandson.
Jason's title is, deputy forest supervisor of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
I thought this card would be just right for him, we are very proud of Jason!!!!

Hi all, My mother in law has been in the hospital for a week now, I made this and sent it to her during the week. I have made it before, this time I added a panel so it could stand up right.

Mojo Monday # 345 made 2
Last one for tonight.... More birthday cards for June and I am still not done looks like 8 more, but it is still cool here in WI and I am sure I will finish before the weather warms up.
most of the time I have to think a bit before cards sketches come together, not this one, it worked out so nicely, I am going to try it in pastels for a woman also.

owls and anniversarys
My daughter will be married 12 years on June 1st,,,, where has the time gone? has two sweet little boys and has moved 6 times since...
I had this background laying here for over a month and added these cute owls for another. I don't normally give anniversary cards, other than to my girls, but this one will be going to a dear friend who almost lost her husband Easter Sunday to a heart attack. Better than a sympathy card.

a square burst
I wanted to see if a burst could be made into a large square cards. I cut the pieces at 1 inch by 6 1/4. It worked but I did not like the bottom edge so I added 4 more cut pieces to make a frame and put it sideways
anniversary cards
I saw this star burst on pinterest and over at Dawn Olchefske's blog she has a great video showing how to make one.. I have made one before, it took forever and it did not turn out so nice...great directions!!! so I made 2! I inked around one and think is shows the burst better
