Card for Cathy

Cathy was in a car accident and were asked to send cards from card makers
Wishing you well Cathy...
this card is from Cricut Songbirds, I was not happy to see all of the flowers had letters in them, why they did not leave some in blackout is beyond my understanding, but I figured a way around it....layer, if you like the flower and not the letters inside do what I did
from songbird flower and flower top shift W @ 3 1/2 inches...this is one more thing I cannot figure out, the flower ended up to be 5 3/4 inches, way bigger than I thought it would be. so glad I did not make the card first.
then I layered the flower tops at 3, 2 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 1/4, 2 inches
for the very center I cut shift 8 at 1 3/4 inches and added stickles to the center.
also have MS butterfly punch   paper is from The Paper Studio Serendipity

Christmas card for Noah

first I stamped  white card stock with Peach Keen snow flakes, I used all of the snow flakes 4 times each in a different color.
Cut  8 1 1/2 inch rounded squared (shift T) I believe,
white base at 5 1/4 inches inked,  light blue is 5 inches each rounded edge punch and inked
3 1/2 inch jots globe, 1 inch jots bear,  star at 1 inch,  1 1/2 inch WW tree, I also made it into a pedestal card.

unlike the penguin globe card, I was able to put a plastic cover over the globe part to make it look more glass like, because it was flat,  the penguin card was pop dotted and too much bulk, would not stick down!
see the shine!

MoJoMonday # 111 and Jaimie Cates card

"On October 4th, 4 teenagers armed with knives broke into a home in a small town in New Hampshire. Alone and sleeping inside were a mother and her 11 year old daughter. These 4 boys broke into this home with the intent to rob and kill anyone inside. They stabbed the mom, Kimberly Cates, to death and left her daughter, Jaimie, for dead in their driveway. It was a completely random act, their home was chosen only due to its secluded surroundings."

Our hope is that everyone hopping around today will stop for a moment and think about Jaimie and her father and what life must be like for them now. One moment in time has changed their lives forever. We are asking that everyone reading this message please take a moment to make a card and send it off to Jaimie. You can make something very simple or much more involved, but please share some words of hope and love and let her know that people do care and want the best for her. Please send your card to the address below:

bright pink and black are Jaimie's favorite color and she is not a frilly girl. so this is what I came up with
I started with MoJo Mondays design for this week because I thought I could work with it and not have
a difficult time with it. That happens to me at times and I love the Indie Art Butterfly so I went with it.
cut at 2 1/2 inches in shadow and black out shadow for the wings , in black
and  reg cut, black out and reg cut for the wings. I also added a few more punch butterflies, because I
thought it looked to much like a chalk board being so black.

the inside, Brittany wanted me to add this gem to the card, instead of me fixing her cute little ring, so I did!

how I layered the butterfly

and I wish you could see it, but I had this ink called water mark and it has a bit of a
glimmer to it! I stamped on the black with a big flower.

maybe if you click on it to make it larger it will show up!
