My prayers going out to all of the tornado victims in the South

since I had the Christmas  paper out I thought I would get another one made and out of the way

 

for this card my DS was a great help, for the black paper I wanted it to fit into a 5 1/2 square envelope and the circle just to fit to the edges on top and bottom, the swirls where stretched

today we had a little snow mixed in with our rain, so I went with a few flakes...
tilted it and used sweet dreams Holiday avenue from my minds eye.

cake top, corsage and oops!!!

I thought I had a week to finish this, but I think I a getting my husband cold so I had to hurry this up before I was not up to making anything.
 the pot will be going on the top of  my nephews wife's baby shower cake, they are expecting twins...so exciting for them and the corsage for her...
will take pictures at shower with Kelly wearing the corsage and the topper on top of the cake...

 now for the oops!!!... I was going to put these around the flower pot, but I added the shadow on each of the critters and it made them too stiff to shape around the curve of the pot., so I made the hearts and stars.
SO NEXT TIME NO SHADOW!!!

We did not get all the snow that the weather people were talking about, but they did get dumped on south of here and towards Green Bay.
Hi all, yesterday I was asked to make a teen card for my daughters friend, so I went to Mojo Monday to see if  I could find one that would work, I had to do a little digging into the past and this sketch turned out to be perfect...I turned it on it's side
note...I had to go back to week 70...there are a lot of awesome sketches out there, just have to look.....

Mother's day color challenge

Hi all, I found this color challenge over at Cardz TV...Mary asked only blue, green purple and white be used
on a mother's day project. I had the hardest time finding purple, not a color I use much, and when I found the right paper ...it has all of the colors on it, plus it is double sided !!! great for me, the bottom is the other side...

mojo monday # 187

what a great sketch over at Mojo Monday this week!!! I had no problem picking out papers, and I even like the ribbon I added to it...looks better in real life,, colors are a bit washed out here.
lots of inking and pop dotted.

 

 I  did have a problem with the 9,,,, it looked more like a g  (wanted this for my daughters 9th anniversary coming up in June)  anyway, I will fix it later.

snowy day to all, I should have gotten a picture of the great outdoors yesterday because the snow was gone!!!
go figure, it is snowing like crazy again today,
for this card I just wanted a big flower and lots of color added glitter pen and little pearls and made into a different fold card (forgot the name of it) also used design studio to weld flower and card together.

Good morning, I decided to take a break from the cake top that I have been making for my nephews twins
(will post when finished) to work on the cards, I got the idea from Charlene Driggs over at
paper and ink playground, she used spellbinders while I used my cricut wild card cartridge.

Butterflies for Aub

Hi all, Saturday morning.... I get this call from my granddaughter asking if I would make her a butterfly and bring along, (I was going to Appleton to babysit them and a baptism the next day)
so I whipped these up in about an hour, I also had to make Braeden some bugs also....

 the butterfly is from pooh and friends, little cutie asked me what happened to the other wing on the butterfly??  leave it to the little ones, I never thought of it!!!

he told me the the wings look like a heart,,,they see it all!!!!

Good Morning, the sun is shining brightly this morning, with a chilly 25 degrees,
I almost put snowflakes on this card because it was snowing off and on yesterday while I was making it..
for mojo, I followed the sketch and FC wanted April showers, an umbrella or a hat...
