BBTB... Phone from My Kitchen

 Bitten by the BUG

This week we have a fun fun fun cut for ya.......THE PHONE from the FROM MY KITCHEN cartridge....this is one of the cutest cuts ever...although I must say that everything on this cartridge is adorable...but I especially love this OLD STYLE PHONE...if you happen to have this cartridge, don't forget to play along.

When I saw this challenge I had to use an old phone book for the background,   NOT EASY! if you mess up
Like I did, the paper is so flimsy that if it does not go down right the first time, it is done for.  What I did was
cut out my phone book paper and taped it to a larger card stock then trimmed the card stock away.
I found that it worked that way...here it is, hope you like it!
the little"table" is also from MK  it is a tab (forgot which one) cut at 11/4 real dial size,
put part of a doily on it and I have a phone table!

BBTB Cahllenge Storybook Bird.....

I asked the designers to use the Storybook Cartridge, and to design something using the pretty bird. I love this bird and since winter is approaching I thought it would be fun to have one last fling with spring....

BBTB Challenge contest time! CUTTLEBUB SPOT

BBTB challenge
OKAY details details details...
With the holidays just around the corner, we here at the BBTB want to see a project based upon being thankful....it seems as though right after Halloween we all seem to jump right into thinking about Christmas and totally forget about Thanksgiving..
So we want to see any type of project based on:

THANKSGIVING, GRATITUDE, BLESSINGS, TURKEY STUFF (SMILE)
BEING THANKFUL, GRATEFUL
Anything along these lines will fit.............

and for the Cuddlebug spot!
I know that we are all getting ready for Thanksgiving cooking and eating, so we thought it would be nice to have a challenge with fruit.  I bet you thought turkey, well thats for next week. This week please share your creations with any type of fruit in them. Can't wait to see your yummy creations.

I started this card on my BD which happens to be Veterans  Day, thinking about all the men and women who have severed our country and died for it, and also the shootings that took place at Fort Hill in TX this last week.  So I give thanks to all, I choose the apple because one day Britt came home all excited and wanted to show me something cool, okay I thought, I watched her cut an apple the wide way and inside she showed me the seeds formed a star. I thought that was pretty cool. so we ate an apple!

the flag I printed for the back ground from one of my card studios, give thanks printed at the same time,
apple is cut at 2 1/2 inches from DC,
cuttlebug stars and herringbone, and MS stars punch. pop dotted the apple, glitter pen on all the stars!

BBTB Challenge SYI and blog hop

The challenge this week is to use the TAG from the STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION cartridge....This tag can be used for just about any project....check out what the team did....but there was one catch....they had to use the tag in some type of HALLOWEEN or FALL type project...

I picked the fall project because I was a little tired of Halloween.

I decided to make 2 since I am trying to get some made for Britt's fund raiser.

and the back to write on.

both done at 5 1/2 inches, I think the leaves are at 2 inches and 2 1/2 for the larger tag
hope you like.
